Prairie Thunder Ranch would like to introduce you to the backbone of our breeding opporation. Without these wonderful mares the most beautiful and talented stallion in the world would do us no good. To see larger photos and more information about these mares simply select their picture or name.

Foxfyre is a 1991 Holsteiner mare by the elite Holsteiner stallion Calme and out of the AHHA approved TB mare Solid Duchess.

Gwyneth is a 1992 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Ladamo and out of the Holsteiner mare Lakeford Lass by Laredo.

Kazryn is a 1995 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Rantares and out of the Holsteiner mare Cayla by Oscar. She is the Reserve Champion mare of her AHHA approvals site!

Kamille is a 1995 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Candidus by Cor De La Bryere and out of the Holsteiner mare Blossom by Merano.

Prairie Rose PT is a 2000 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Riverman and out of the Holsteiner mare Kazryn by Rantares. Kazryn can be seen above as she is one of our broodmares. At her AHHA approvals she was placed in the Main Mare PREMIUM book!

Pal Amor is a 2000 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Amour and out of the Holsteiner mare Aileron by Rantares. She is in the Main Mare book with the AHHA.

Realeza PT is a 2001 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Le Santo by Landgraf I and out of the Holsteiner mare Kazryn by Rantares. As a two year old she was presented with the AHHA and placed in the Main Mare book just one point below premium! Kazryn can be seen above as she is one of our broodmares.

Star Spangled PT is a 2002 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Riverman by Redfort who is by Rebel Z and out of the Holsteiner mare Foxfyre by Calme'. She is in the Main Mare book of the AHHA with scores only one point below the premium book. Her mother, Foxfyre, can be seen above as she is one of our broodmares.

Sterling Moon PT is a 2002 Holsteiner mare by the Holsteiner stallion Stealth S by Sabotage who is by Silvester and out of the Holsteiner mare Gwyneth by Ladamo. She is in the Main Mare PREMIUM book with the AHHA. Her mother, Gwyneth, can be seen above as she is one of our broodmares.

Serendipity is a 2003 RPSI mare. She is by the Oldenburg stallion Spectrum and out of the RPSI approved TB mare Nette Be Good. She is an incredibly flashy bay/tobiano filly with excellent movement, conformation and athletic ability. She has the potential to go to the highest levels in dressage. She will end up around 16.2 to 16.3h.

Samara is a 1995 Andalusain mare by Caudillo and out of Candileja A. She has a lot of the great stallion Adalid in her pedigree, plus she has beautiful movement.

Alicita is a 1996 Andalusain mare by Dichoso A and out of Moicana A. She has the great stallion Adalid in her pedigree. She has big movement and a very sweet disposition.

GD Katie Can is a 2001 APHA bay/tobiano mare by Go Deck who is by RA Flight Deck and out of Ghostys Reflection who is by Shutout. She is a lovely elegant mare with great height at 16h and movement. I am fairly certain that she is homozygous for the tobiano gene!
