Peppy is a 1934 chestnut Quarter Horse stallion. His AQHA # is P-212. His owner at the time of registration was King Ranch, Kingsville, TX. He stood 15 hands, 1/2 inch. 1200 lbs. He died in Wyoming on Feb. 24, 1964. Peppy was linebred to Old Sorrel. He was a success in both showing and breeding. Peppy was cool, calm, level-headed and kind. He was the first horse on the 'King Ranch' to be extensively shown.

He was shown extensively from 1936-1941. He was Grand Champion Quarter Horse Stallion at the 1940 Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, and Grand Champion Cow Horse at the 1941 Tucson Horse Show, among many other titles.

His AQHA Champion Offspring include: Peppy's Pokey. His ROM Arena Offspring include: Peppy's Pokey, Red Ryder. His Producing Daughters include: Adana, Cacuchiua, Delle Cogdell, Golandrina, Graivella Chiquita, Lis Tona Azule, Mancha Negra, Media Luna Vee, Pep Americana, Peppy American Girl, Peppy Girl, Peppy's Pistol W, Peppy's Red Ant, Peppy's Senorita, Peppy's Tonia, Sheila Vick, Weinert's Dulce.
